March 8th 2018 is International Women’s Day and to celebrate that, we’ve put together an episode with Hanna Jonsson, a mountain biker and journalist, to chat about the state of women’s mountain biking today. The women’s side of the sport has seen huge progress over recent years, and is certainly leaps and bounds ahead of where it was when I started riding. Back then, it was incredibly unusual to even see a women out riding on the trails! Even with that progress, women are still a minority in the sport, so we sat down and chatted about that, where it’s going, what we can all do to encourage more women into the sport, women’s racing, and much much more.
